Twitter Instagram Facebook Pinterest(High-Decorative) ("New Arrivals Gallery")A beloved style from the Persian Sarouk region that emerged in the first quarter of the 20th century is known for its superior quality of wool that provides an incomparable luminosity to a rug’s surface in natural light. This utterly charming Mahajiran Sarouk offers an engaging spectrum of harmonious colors that fill the diverse and endearing design. From a single pale apricot floral focal point, flowering vinery and chiseled flower heads abound in a glorious array of masterfully abrashed (intentional color changes) bronzes, sea greens, cerulean, and rose tones upon a rich midnight indigo ground to alluring effect. Its lush crimson main border is also quite spacious, allowing the rich colors to be more prominent. This approximately 110-year-old rug remains in superb, heavier pile condition.
